With Choi Ik-joon, CEO of Allgorun Co., Ltd., attending the Gochang Agricultural Technology Center, the signing ceremony for the distribution of excellent Apple Mango varieties and transfer of cultivation technology was successful.

Through this agreement, Allgorun plans to pre-supply apple mango seedlings with excellent marketability for more than four years, and select excellent farmers in Gochang-gun to provide free grafting of new Apple mango seedlings. In particular, it will select one of the "Hawaii Pink," "Hawaii Pingle" and "Noble" varieties, which are popular enough to be traded for more than 100,000 won in fructose (果糖) in Japan, and supply them as specialties of Gochang-gun.

Hyun Hyaeng-yeol, director of the Gochang Agricultural Technology Center, head of the related department, Lee Kyung-shin of Gochang-gun, and several agricultural support officials attended the event to discuss the possibility and profitability of Apple Mango's cultivation in the region and how to develop differentiated local specialties.

CEO Choi Ik-joon said, "Through this agreement, Gochang-gun will actively support the local economy to revitalize the local economy and promote the influx of returning people by specializing in new varieties of Apple Mango," adding, "In particular, it will contribute to the creation of stable farm income by providing opportunities for the post-retirement high-income crop cultivation of baby boomers."

Allgorun plans to establish a "combination" so that Apple mango growers do not have difficulties in distribution and sales, and operate an Allgorun One-Stop Farm Management System that links cultivation, distribution, sales, and derivatives development. Through this, it plans to provide practical support in the entire process so that farmers can maximize profits without worrying about sales.

Hyun Haeng-yeol, director of the Gochang Agricultural Technology Center, said, "This MOU will be an important turning point for the full-scale distribution of Apple Mango in Gochang-gun and the specialization of new varieties. It is expected to strengthen the competitiveness of local farmers by distributing excellent seedlings and supporting free grafting, and further contribute to increasing agricultural income and resolving population imbalances."

With this agreement, the Allgorun and Gochang-gun Agricultural Technology Center will continue to cooperate closely for the successful settlement of the Apple Mango industry and the development of the sustainable tropical fruit industry.
