Allgorun announced on the 23rd that it will expand the distribution and cultivation of apple mango seedlings over 4 years old.

According to officials, Allgorun currently has more than 10,000 Apple Mango seedlings in its domestic seedling house, including special varieties such as Irwin, Australian Apple Mango, Hawaii Pink, Hawaii Pingle and Noble. The seedlings, which boast more than four years of age, can harvest faster than existing seedlings, contributing to faster profit generation for farmers.

The Australian Apple Mango is a variety that is characterized by its round and red appearance like an apple and boasts a sweet taste, and is expected to be very popular with domestic consumers. Thanks to its appearance, it has a unique charm worthy of the name "Apple Mango" and is also competitive in the domestic high-end fruit market.

The strength of special varieties such as Hawaii pingle, Hawaii pink, and Noble is that they have fairly small seeds, allowing them to enjoy more pulp.

Hawaii Pink is in the spotlight as a premium fruit for its soft, creamy texture and high sugar content. Hawaii Pingle feature delicate scents and textures, giving consumers a new taste experience. As its name entails, Noble is a high-end variety that boasts a low fiber and excellent sweetness with a distinctive mango scent, providing a differentiated charm from traditional mangoes.

Allgorun has secured cultivation capacity equivalent to 200 greenhouses of about 330㎡, and plans to distribute more than 50,000 seedlings for domestic farms and exports in cooperation with local governments. Apple Mango, a special breed such as Hawaii Pink, Hawaii Pingle, and Noble, plans to select one local government to foster it intensively so that it can become a special product of each region.

In addition, it plans to contribute to the development of local agriculture by selecting excellent farmers in cooperation with local governments and introducing special varieties of apple mango through free grafting support. Through this, farmers of each local government are expected to secure competitiveness, and it is expected to have a positive impact on revitalizing the local economy.

"In line with the recent trend of the first generation of baby boomers hoping to continue working after retirement and retirement, Allgorun is preparing various programs to support apple mango cultivation for retirees and young people who want to return to farming," said Ik-Joon Choi, CEO of Allgorun. "The baby boomers are looking for productive and rewarding work even after retirement, and this trend is generating great interest in the agricultural sector, especially new agricultural models such as apple mango cultivation. Apple mango cultivation can be an attractive option for those looking for new jobs after retirement, especially as it can generate stable profits only with constant management after initial investment."

"We will lead the future of Korean agriculture through a plan to expand special varieties and create new agricultural trends centered on Apple Mango," he said. "We will provide stable profit generation and rewarding agricultural experiences, especially for the baby boomers who are about to retire and young people who want to return to farming."
